Flyboard Equipment

Our facility uses the official Zapata Flyboard, they are many aftermarket brands out there that do also work, but nothing can compare to the smooth and sturdy riding sensation you get with the original product. The heavy-duty hose connecting from the Flyboard to the jet ski measures a length of 60ft. The jet skis used as a “water pump” to propel the Flyboard are equipped with robust engines fitted with double-impeller, giving the machine premium power to boost you out of the water at ease. All equipment is inspected daily and kept in superb condition.

Flyboard FAQs

  • How old do you need to be?

13 years old is our minimum age required to Flyboard.

  • How high can we go?

For safety reason, we limit the height to about 15-20 feet. However, during your first time you will be starting even lower to get comfortable with the basics and as you progress the instructor will increase the height.

  • Are instructions included?

Of course, the instructor will be going over the basics prior to getting into the water. During the full session, same instructor will be working one on one with the rider to give them the best possible advice on how to get off the water and even some tips to help them perform their first sets of tricks!

  • How many flyers can go at the same time?

We usually do one flyer at a time. However, we are able to operate two setups at a time during busy periods.

  • Is it free to watch/ spectate?

Yes, we do not charge spectators to watch or take pictures. We operate the Flyboard right off the dock of our establishment, where the water is nice and calm to learn for the first time!

  • What should I wear for this activity?

You will get fully wet! So wear a bathing suit; no need for a wetsuit with this Miami weather. For girls, if you decide to wear a bikini, make sure it’s a tight fit and won’t slide down when getting pushed around in the water.

  • Is Flyboarding in Miami safe for first timers?

Like all extreme sports there are risks, however, they are very low and we have never had any serious injuries. The board floats as well as the lifejacket and foam helmet that you will be wearing. Our instructors will start you out at only a few feet’s above the water until you build more confidence. After that you will progressively increase in height.
